There are two ways to reset your windows phone.
1.The first one is very simple and easy but it needs a well running operating system. To do this reset you have to just follow few simple steps. First of all unlock your device then go to settings and then [(FOR WINDOWS 10 MOBILE) open system setting after that open about page and then slide down and tap on reset].[(FOR WINDOWS PHONE 8.x) slide down till you see about and then open it and then click on reset] and give simple command about your sd card and then continue your reset after a while your device will successfully complete resetting and will start fine.
2.Second way for hard resetting is also simple just shut down your device then start it while holding volume up key and hold both key till you device shows an exclamation mark after that tap volume down key release it and click power key release it and then click volume down key and your devuce will start resetting.
